Try your hand at Glassblowing! You will be introduced to the basic techniques of working with hot glass. You will learn how to gather out of the furnace, color and shape your piece . Minimun age is 13 for this class. You will leave with a vessel that holds liquid and a paperweight.

Face Sculpting Workshop

Faces are so full of information. In this workshop, we will be taking a closer look at them and taking on the challenge of capturing the subtleties we see every day.

We will use mirrors  to take a look at ourselves or bring photos, from several angles, of a loved one you want to try sculpting.

We will have Wednesday and Thursday to work on this project. If you can only attend one of these sessions, we can adapt the project to fit the time frame. However, We do recommend attending both to get the most the classes.

Workshop includes materials and firing cost.

Are you ready to take your beginning glass blowing experience to the next level? Come hone your skills in our studio and learn the art of applying color to your glass masterpieces. You will learn about pure color rod from Germany. You will color and blow a glass piece from the inside out. You must have completed at least 2 beginner glass classes within the last 2 year. Minimun age is 13 for this 4 hour class. You will leave with a vessel like a vase or a bowl.

Bring out your creative self and celebrate Earth Day 2024! Come to this 20 minute Make Your Own Glass Ornament workshop. You’ll get to color hot glass and learn how to shape it, with Randi and her crew, by blowing a glass ornament. You’ll be able to hang your beautiful creation in the window or on a tree and enjoy for years to come. This is a familiy and friend fun event. Age 5 and up.

Creatures are super fun to make in clay. Come learn some sculpting and carving techniques or bring your skills and imagination and come play with clay with Cynthia Parker-Houghton. This project can be adapted for adults or for children. All pieces will be fired in the kiln and ready for you to paint. Then you can come pick the final pieces up in a week or so, or we can ship them to you.

This is a 3 hour long class. Class is limited to 14 people ages 5 and up.

Wear clothing that you feel comfortable getting into the clay with.
